Torsten Toeller (60) founded the company "Fressnapf" also known internationally as Maxi Zoo in 1990 and acquired Arcaplanet in 2024. With 3,000 specialty pet stores and 22,000 employees in 15 countries and sales of 4 billion euros Fressnapf is market leader in Europe. He is Owner, Founder and Board Member of the Fressnapf Group and member of selective advisory boards such as Deutsche Bank. He invests with his FO in PE, VC, public markets and real estate and founded "Unternehmerstiftung für Chancengerechtigkeit". For his entrepreneurial achievements he was awarded with the "Entrepreneur of the Year", the "Franchisor of the Year", the "Golden Sugar Loaf" and "Lifetime Award" of the German Retail prize in 2024.
