Tom Becker is VP DACH at Mistral AI, where he leads the company's go-to-market across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He joined Mistral to build and scale the regional commercial organisation, working with enterprises and the public sector to deploy frontier, sovereign AI.

Tom brings two decades of enterprise go-to-market experience across AI and data-software companies — including senior commercial roles at Covariant (AI robotics), KNIME and Alteryx — focused on bringing AI into industrial, engineering and regulated environments. At Mistral he has helped shape flagship Industrial-AI programmes such as the BMW Group crash-simulation collaboration, partnerships, and Mistral's role in Europe's push for digital sovereignty, with its open models underpinning Germany's SPARK initiative.

He regularly engages with European policymakers and industry leaders on the adoption of sovereign, open AI. Tom is based in Munich.
