Sebastian Klaus is CEO and Co-Founder of ATMOS Space Cargo, the Franco-German company building Europe's first reusable capsule for returning cargo from orbit. Before founding ATMOS, he served as an officer in the German Armed Forces' special forces unit and holds a master's degree in aerospace engineering focused on atmospheric re-entry and reusable rocket propulsion. He has filed several patents in entry and descent technology, holds a commercial pilot license, and brings deep expertise in parachute systems. Under his leadership, ATMOS closed its Series A and completed the first flight of its Phoenix re-entry capsule, positioning Europe for independent, sovereign access to and from space.
