Philipp von der Wippel is the founder and managing director of ProjectTogether, a German nonprofit building a new operating system for collective action to tackle complex societal challenges at a moment when democratic structures are struggling to keep pace. The organization's approach rests on three pillars: forging unconventional alliances across politics, civil society and business through collective action processes; reforming state institutions through Re:Form, an alliance of administrative pioneers spanning federal, state and municipal government; and growing the Allianz der Gestalter:innen, a movement of regional changemakers and mayors mobilizing citizens to shape their communities. Four thematic missions — from the construction transition to mental health — translate the model into practice. Philipp holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and completed executive education in Leadership for System Change at the Harvard Kennedy School. Earlier roles include the BMW Foundation, the Federal Ministry of Finance, and PwC Public Sector Consulting.
