Olivier Tonneau is Founder and Partner at Quantonation Ventures, the world’s first venture capital fund dedicated to quantum technologies.

A graduate of ESSEC Business School, Olivier spent 10 years as a management consultant at Kearney before joining French entrepreneur Charles Beigbeder as CEO of his holding company, Gravitation.

Since 2018, Olivier has been developing Quantonation alongside Christophe Jurczak. He serves on the boards of  Multiverse Computing, Welinq, QBlox, Yaqumo, CryptoNext Security, VeriQloud, KETS Quantum Security, QC Design, The Quantum Launchpad and the Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC)- the European quantum industry association.

In 2025, Olivier was selected for Class 28 of the Kauffman Fellows Program, a prestigious global leadership program for venture capital investors. He is also a member of the French Navy’s citizen reserve.
