Moritz is Chief Investment Officer at better ventures, a Munich-based impact investor, backing founders purely with capital from entrepreneurs.

Before becoming an investor, Moritz was one of the first employees at Sono Motors, where he spent five years as Head of Finance and Interim CFO and raised over €300M from seed round through the company’s Nasdaq IPO, which he lead. Earlier, he did a short stop in private equity and founded his own startup out of university. He studied at the University of St. Gallen, Copenhagen Business School, and Stanford. He believes real motivation comes from purpose, which is why he spends his working hours backing founders fixing the planet and society, for impact and return.
