Maximilian Oehl is co-initiator and Executive Director of Media Force, a full-service social media agency for defending democracy, and Brand New Bundestag. He is a fully qualified lawyer, studied law in Cologne, Lausanne and Berkeley, among other places, and completed his doctorate in international economic law on the legal framework for the sustainable use of resources. During his studies, he was the driving force behind the "Refugee Law Clinic" movement, as founding chairman of the Refugee Law Clinic (RLC) Cologne and later of the umbrella organisation RLC Germany. He also got to know the Bundestag from the inside as a migration policy advisor. In 2022, Maximilian Oehl was honoured as an Ashoka Fellow for his work in social entrepreneurship.
