Matthias Notz is CEO of Start2 Group, a global innovation leader, and one of the defining figures in the startup and innovation ecosystem. Under his leadership, the organization supports startups, corporates, universities and public institutions in developing and scaling innovations. He is responsible for numerous innovation and scaling programs, including the government-funded German Accelerator, which has supported over 2,500 startups in scaling globally to the leading innovation hubs in the US, Asia, Latin America, and Africa.

Furthermore, he inspires future entrepreneurial leaders with his ecosystem thinking through his teaching at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology and the Bavarian Elite Academy, as well as through the scholarship foundation Netzwerk Engagement, which he founded and chairs.
