Matthias Keckl is General Partner of the venture capital funds FTTF (Fraunhofer Tech Transfer Fund) and TT49, where he invests in early-stage deep-tech startups emerging from Germany’s leading research institutions and universities. Over the past two decades, he has worked closely with founders to identify, build, and scale science-based ventures, supporting their journey from research to successful commercialisation. His experience spans technology transfer, venture building, accelerator programs, and venture capital investing across a wide range of deep-tech sectors. Matthias also serves as an advisor to innovation initiatives and lectures on entrepreneurship in the Executive MBA program at the University of St. Gallen.
