Mario Lebherz is a chairman of Highcat, a German developer of unmanned aerial systems. He's also a founding partner of Magnetic, a Berlin-based venture firm investing in security, energy, and industrial technology. He serves on boards from seed stage to public markets, including Tytan Technologies, which builds counter-drone interceptors, and LS telcom, a listed spectrum management and monitoring company.

Previously, Mario served as managing director at FoodLabs, a leading venture firm and studio, building and backing companies from zero. He began as a founder of shared mobility platform CarJump, which was acquired by PSA Group in 2016 and became Free2Move, Stellantis' mobility arm.

An economist by training, he studied at the University of Tübingen, the American University of Beirut, and ESCP Europe.
