About

I build companies that actually make money.

That one sentence is the entire strategy behind EBIT Ventures, the venture builder I founded together with my partners. We start focused B2B companies, pair them with experienced operators as founders, and grow them to profitability — instead of chasing the next funding round. Sustainable over spectacular. EBIT over hype.

I've earned that conviction the long way. Over 20+ years as a founder in Berlin, Brooklyn and Santiago, I:

• co-founded caseable and ran it as Co-CEO for 11 years — building a tech-enabled manufacturer and retailer across the US and Europe

• co-founded 35up, an embedded cross-selling technology backed by Capnamic, coparion and DvH Ventures — acquired by Sovendus in 2026 (I remain on board as advisor)

• raised over €20M from investors in Europe and the US, and learned at least as much from the failures in between as from the wins

What I've learned, I share. On my podcast REBUILD I talk with founders like Gero Decker (Signavio) about the 95% of the founder journey you don't see on LinkedIn — the fuck-ups, the doubts, the hard calls. And on stages like K5 and OMR, where I've been speaking and teaching masterclasses for years.

The project closest to my heart is KUMU.one, the non-profit I co-founded: we help teenagers in Malawi and Mozambique go to university — because $300 a year can change the entire trajectory of a life.
