Dr. Johannes Hund is a leading authority in IIoT and advanced grid architectures. As a lead architect at Siemens, he spearheaded their corporate IIoT platforms and drove the technology behind smart substation automation, Virtual Power Plants (VPPs), and novel residential storage grid architectures. Globally, he built the W3C 'Web of Things' group, standardizing the web application layer for IoT worldwide. Together with Jörg Heuer he founded EcoG, catalyzing EV charging infrastructure worldwide with over 25.000 active chargers and rapidly growing. As CTO he is driving the software teams and the innovation hub to empower the integration of EV charging infrastructure, the enegry grid and business processes.
