Johan Attby
About
Physicist by training, entrepreneur by accident, investor by choice.
Johan started out doing engineering physics at Chalmers and nearly became a doctor of the useless-until-suddenly-useful kind. Instead he built companies.
First Tific, an AI-driven enterprise support company acquired by PlumChoice in 2011 — back when "AI" still needed explaining at dinner parties.
Then Fishbrain, the world's largest social network for anglers, which he led as CEO for a decade, raised $70M+ for, and grew to a global community with 20 million people.
Somewhere along the way Sweden named him Founder of the Year.Today he's a General Partner at Norrsken Evolve, writing the first checks into European founders solving for sustainability and resilience — pre-seed, high conviction, unreasonably early. He's met more pitch decks than most people have met people, and still gets excited about the weird ones.
