Itziar Estevez Latasa is a Partner at IRIS, focusing on late-stage and growth capital investments in Germany and across Europe. She brings over 15 years of deep industrial and venture capital experience, specializing in B2B software, deeptech, cybersecurity, and Industry 4.0.

Prior to joining IRIS in 2019, Itziar spent a decade as a venture investor at Next47 and Siemens Venture Capital, managing notable investments and successful exits. She began her professional journey in operational project management at BMW’s Munich production plant and later worked as a consultant for The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in London and Munich.

Itziar holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Technical University Munich and the University of Navarra, alongside an MBA from the London Business School. Passionate about tech ecosystem growth, she was awarded the KfW Capital Award for "Best Female Investor" and actively supports initiatives like Level 20 and the RESPOND Accelerator.
