Heike Freund is Chief Operating Officer at Marvel Fusion, where she is part of the executive leadership team responsible for scaling the company and advancing the commercialization of laser-driven fusion energy. Her work focuses on operations, industrialization, strategic partnerships and organizational growth in complex deep-tech environments. Prior to joining Marvel Fusion, she spent a decade at McKinsey & Company, most recently as Partner, advising global automotive, industrial and high-tech companies on large-scale transformation and industrialization programs. She also serves on the board of the German Startup Association.
