Guido Brendler has been Head of Sales & Business Development and a member of the Executive Board at MBDA Deutschland GmbH, headquartered in Schrobenhausen, Bavaria, since April 1, 2022. He joined the company in 2010 as a Senior Sales Representative for Airborne Platforms, after having worked as a commercial pilot for nearly three years following his discharge from the German Armed Forces. Before moving into the private sector, he served for nearly 22 years as a military officer and pilot in the German Air Force, primarily on the Tornado and F-18 aircraft, as well as in various staff positions. He retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and remains active today as a reserve officer. He holds a Master of Science in Aeronautical Science.
