Eric Bach is CEO and co-founder of PhotonXCorp, a stealth-stage company building photonic AI compute. A member of Lucid Motors' founding executive team, he helped build Lucid for 10.5 years, last as SVP of Product, Chief Engineer and Named Executive Officer, leading engineering for the Lucid Air (MotorTrend's 2022 Car of the Year) and the Gravity SUV. After the 2018 PIF investment, his team delivered the Air in 36 months, alongside a new platform, powertrain and greenfield factory. Earlier, he joined Tesla as Director of Engineering before the Model S launched and helped bring it to market, a defining moment for the EV industry. Before Tesla, he spent 12 years at Volkswagen. He also advises and invests in Novus.
