Dr. Arik Willner is CEO of Impossible Founders, Hamburg's Deep Tech Startup Factory. He holds a PhD in physics and spent many years at DESY (Deutsches Elektronen Synchrotron), most recently as Chief Technology Officer, where he built its Innovation Office, Startup Labs, and the Innovation Factory. Along the way, he co-founded his own Deep Tech startup, Axiom Insights. At Impossible Founders, he is building the infrastructure to turn scientific breakthroughs into scalable ventures, connecting researchers, founders, industry partners, policymakers and investors across Europe's Deep Tech landscape. Arik speaks regularly at international innovation and startup events on translating deep tech research into industry-ready companies.
