Former fighter pilot with an engineers degree, more than 2000 flying hours on Tornado and Eurofighter Typhoon, multiple leadership roles in the German Airforce and the German MoD on different levels in Germany and with ISAF. In the MoD responsible for all abroad operations of the german armed forces like Afghanistan, Iraq, Mali - including the EvacOp out of Kabul in 2021. As VCHoD overseeing all developments of combat readiness, future developments and cooperation within NATO, EU and pertner nations, strong and detailed exchange with german parliament for the last five years.
