André Loesekrug-Pietri is the Chairman & Scientific Director of the Joint European Disruptive Initiative (JEDI), the European advanced technology initiative (European ARPA), with the mission to develop the tech breakthroughs that will ensure Europe’s competitiveness & sovereignty.  He was previously Special Advisor to the French Minister of Defence, and held leadership positions in private equity, industry and as an entrepreneur.

French and German national, André is a Graduate from HEC, Harvard Kennedy School, auditor of Sup’ Aero aerospace engineering school and higher war college IHEDN, he is Young Global Leader from the World Economic Forum, private pilot, and sits on the Innovation Board of the Munich Security Conference, the Advisory Board of the Saarland Transformation Fund, and of Ubisoft, listed on the Paris Stock Exchange.
