I'm Alex, Co-Founder and CEO of sewts, a Munich-based Physical AI company. We teach robots to handle what machines have never mastered: deformable materials like textiles. What started as a deep-tech idea from TU Munich has grown into 70 robots in the field, 17 industrial customers, a €10M sales pipeline, and over €25M in funding raised.

Those are the numbers. The journey behind them is the real story. I've been through the full founder curriculum: lay-offs, co-founder transitions, screaming customers, funding rounds that closed and rounds that didn't. My honest summary of scaling a hardware startup: "The highs are getting higher, the lows are getting lower." Both keep intensifying...and both are part of the job :-)
