About:

Oliver is a long standing partner at Lakestar and focuses on investments in healthcare technology, as well as US-based companies. He led or co-lead investments in companies such as Oscar Health, Cedar Health, Aetion, Nelly, Accurx, Public.com, Harry’s and Auterion. Before joining Lakestar, Oliver briefly worked in Mergers & Acquisitions at Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt, Germany, and as a research assistant for Entrepreneurial Finance at Harvard Business School's Arthur Rock Department. He studied at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, Harvard University, and Wharton in the US.

Drawing on 4 of my pre-revenue, Seed investments that went on to raise over $2.5bn - I’ll share key lessons for founders. The early cap table is the foundation for long-term fundraising success; structured well, it attracts future capital, structured poorly, it can choke growth. Overfunding, when used strategically, is a weapon—not a weakness. Cost discipline and a path to profitability are equally powerful tools. Ultimately, it’s relentless product iteration speed that determines survival and scale.

Your Presentation - deadline 24.09.2025

Upload Guidelines for Presentations

If you have a presentation, please ensure that you submit your materials/files in a single zip folder containing the following:

1. Presentation File:

Keynote file 16:9 (1920x1080px) or PowerPoint file (.pptx, 1920x1080px).
Please make sure all fonts and videos are embedded within the file, if applicable.

2. PDF File:

A PDF version of your presentation with all fonts embedded.

3. Fonts:

Any custom fonts used in your presentation (please include the font files).

4. Videos:

All videos included in the presentation must also be provided separately.
Format: 16:9 aspect ratio, 1920x1080px (Full HD).
File type: MP4 or .m4v.

Deadline: All presentation materials must be submitted no later than September 24, 2025.
This is necessary to allow our technical team to review and test the presentations in advance.
