Niklas Zennström is Founder and CEO at Atomico. Niklas is a globally renowned technology investor and entrepreneur, having previously co-founded and managed Skype, Kazaa and Joltid. He launched Atomico in 2006 with the belief that entrepreneurs are the ultimate gamechangers for positive transformation across the most critical aspects of our society and economy. Starting in Europe, the firm’s mission is to further their global progress, with a platform offering unmatched support from the earliest stages to scale. In 2007, Niklas co-founded Zennström Philanthropies with his wife, Catherine. They focus their efforts in two areas: human rights and the environment. Niklas also founded the Race for the Baltic, a foundation for a well-managed and sustainable Baltic Sea; and sits on the international advisory board of the Stockholm Resilience Centre.
