Julie Böhning is the CEO and co-founder of PAVE Space, a Swiss space startup developing next-generation in-orbit logistics solutions. She holds a background in robotics engineering from EPFL, where she developed a strong foundation in space systems and industrial technologies. Before founding PAVE Space, she co-founded the Gruyère Space Program, a student initiative that designed and flight-tested more than 50 times the first reusable rocket demonstrator in Europe. In 2024, Julie co-founded PAVE Space to build orbital transfer vehicles designed to move satellites efficiently between orbits, reducing transfer times from months to less than a day. Under her leadership, the company is positioning itself as a key enabler of space mobility infrastructure, backed by significant early-stage funding to accelerate development and upcoming in-orbit demonstrations.
