About:

Bjorn is heading the Western Europe and TechEU division at EIF which is responsible for some of EIF's strategic mandates such as the European Tech Champions Initiative and mandates in Germany and the Netherlands. Before taking on that role in 2025 he was responsible for EIF's Tech Funds investment activities for over 10 years, investing between EUR 1.5bn and EUR 2bn in European VC funds.
