As the CEO and founder of Aerospacelab, Benoit Deper has been at the helm of the company since 2018. With his recognized experience in the space industry, this entrepreneur quickly succeeded in the support of strong investors and the trust of renowned aerospace partners. After graduating from UCLouvain with a degree in mechatronics, robotics and automation engineering, Benoit Deper first joined the ranks of two iconic institutions in the sector: NASA and ESA, its European counterpart. Benoit knows the space industry and its key players inside out. This combination of experience and talent enabled him to recruit top talent globally, and, most importantly, to design and manufacture Aerospacelab's first satellite in just two years, starting from a blank sheet of paper.
