Alexander Müller has spent more than three decades building and leading logistics operations within the Audi Group, moving from the shop floor to executive responsibility for some of Audi's most demanding production environments. He joined Audi AG in 1994, working across a range of functions within logistics. In 2005 he became part of the core team that built the Audi Production System, trained directly in lean production and Kaizen methods with Japanese Sensei consultants — a foundation that has shaped his continuous-improvement mindset ever since. In 2008 he took on logistics responsibility for quattro GmbH logistics, today known as Audi Sport, building up a flexible small-series logistics system before leading the logistics ramp-up of the Böllinger Höfe manufaktur site for the second-generation Audi R8 in 2014. From 2018 he headed Plant Logistics at Audi Brussels, steering the transformation and production launch of the Audi e-tron — Audi's first battery-electric vehicle. In 2022 he took on logistics leadership for Audi Sport GmbH, responsible for Böllinger Höfe and high-performance small-series ("halo car") logistics, as well as end-to-end control for Audi exclusive and individual one-off builds across all plants. In 2026 he moved into a new role as Head of Innovation Management and Collaborations for Supply Chain, driving forward-looking partnerships and innovation across the supply chain. Lean- and Kaizen-driven, digitally curious, and energized by complexity, Alexander brings a rare combination of shop-floor pragmatism and strategic vision to the future of automotive logistics.
