Saskia Bruysten is an impact entrepreneur and investor. In her current role as Partner & Co-Founder International at Carbon Equity, she drives the platform's global expansion, making private equity investments in climate tech accessible to a broader audience. Previously, Saskia co-founded and led Yunus Social Business (YSB) with Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus. Under her leadership, YSB scaled social businesses that improved the lives of over 17 million people in East Africa, Latin America & India, delivering access to employment, education, healthcare, and clean energy. She won numerous awards for her work in social business and impact investing, holds various board seats and is a frequent speaker at events including the World Economic Forum, Clinton Global initiative etc. and is a member of the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO). Saskia’s career reflects her passion for tackling global challenges through business approaches.
