Oliver Bäte is the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management of Allianz SE, the world's leading insurance brand with annual revenues of 152 billion euros. He leads approximately 160,000 employees in over 70 countries, offering 122 million customers a range of products, services, and solutions in insurance and asset management. Oliver is a passionate advocate for environmental protection and co-founded the UN-convened Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance to support the goals of the Paris Agreement. His focus on workplace inclusion resulted in Allianz being recognized as an Iconic Leader of the Valuable 500, a group dedicated to making business more inclusive for people with disabilities. Additionally, he drove Allianz's top ranking on BeyondGenderAgenda's Diversity Index, one of Germany's most rigorous indices for measuring diversity outcomes. He is committed to advancing financial services and economic expertise and serves as Vice Chairman of the Geneva Association, and as a member of various international finance and business organizations. Oliver began his career with McKinsey & Company in New York before moving to their offices in Germany. In 1998, he led McKinsey's insurance practice for Germany and Austria. In 2003, he was named Director of the firm's European insurance and asset management practice, and in 2008, joined the Board of Management of Allianz SE as Global Chief Operating Officer. He later served as Allianz SE's Chief Financial Officer and subsequently as head of insurance for Western & Southern Europe, and then for Global P&C markets. In 2015, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Management. Oliver studied business administration at the University of Cologne and holds an MBA from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Upload Guidelines for Presentations
If you have a presentation, please ensure that you submit your materials/files in a single zip folder containing the following:

1. Presentation File:

  • Keynote file 16:9 (1920x1080px) or PowerPoint file (.pptx, 1920x1080px).
  • Please make sure all fonts and videos are embedded within the file, if applicable.

2. PDF File:

  • A PDF version of your presentation with all fonts embedded.

3. Fonts:

  • Any custom fonts used in your presentation (please include the font files).

4. Videos:

  • All videos included in the presentation must also be provided separately.
  • Format: 16:9 aspect ratio, 1920x1080px (Full HD).
  • File type: MP4 or .m4v.
Deadline: All presentation materials must be submitted no later than September 17th, 2025.
This is necessary to allow our technical team to review and test the presentations in advance.
