For many years, Florian witnessed the power of entrepreneurship first-hand before co-founding Ananda in 2009. This experience made him realize that he needed to fully dedicate himself to addressing large societal and environmental challenges by actively supporting entrepreneurs with impactful ideas. At the start of his career, Florian worked as a business consultant before joining the German venture capital firm Wellington Partners as an investment manager. His entrepreneurial journey also led him to roles such as Managing Director for Sales and Services in the EMEA region at the US high-tech startup WhereNet (acquired by Zebra Technologies), and CFO of the Munich-based software startup Aloqa (sold to Motorola Mobility/Google). Florian studied Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich and ENST Toulouse in France, and holds an MBA from TU Munich and the University of California, Berkeley. An enthusiastic ski and snowboard instructor, he truly enjoys spending time in the mountains during the winter.
