Event Manager (Product, focus: startups) (m/f/x)

We are looking for a Product Manager starting as soon as possible. As Product Manager you support the planning & execution of Bits & Pretzels Founders Festival while focusing on one of our core customer groups - startups. Therefore, you support with maintenance and expansion of our valuable community of startups as well as with the design, development, preparation, organization and implementation of suitable formats to enhance startups’ event experience.

Formats you’ll be working on include the Startup Exhibition and the Startup Pitch Competition. (Start date: as soon as possible)

• Support with building, expanding & maintaining relations with startups to maintain and expand our network
• Contribute to the preparation, organization and implementation of specific formats like our Startup Exhibition, Startup Pitch Competition, Matchmaking formats and more target group specific formats
• Support customer success management during preparation as well as through execution of the target group specific formats at our events
• Continuously optimize our existing processes and challenge the status quo to identify new opportunities

• University degree or comparable qualification in the field of economics, innovation, entrepreneurship or a similar subject 
• First working experience (1-2 years in a similar or complimentary role)
• Natural curiosity for entrepreneurship
• Motivation to build value for startup founders
• Passion for events with a natural flair for hospitality
• A high degree of organizational talent & independent working style
• Creativity & ability to work in a cross-functional team
• Flexibility & ability to work under pressure in stressful situations
• Strong communication skills
• You are fluent and comfortable with both German and English
• Strong affinity for automation, AI, and new software tools, and enjoying optimizing workflows through smart technology
