LP/GP Roundtable with Andreas Meier & Chris Heyer
Investor Activity
Organizer
Bits & Pretzels
Event Description

"What would it take for foundations to invest in venture capital?"

German foundations manage billions and hold almost none of it in venture. The obstacle is rarely appetite: it is the investment policy, the board, and backing a manager whose results only show up in ten years. Andreas Mayr and Chris Heyer put the Joachim Herz Stiftung case on the table as a starting point. Everything after that is the discussion: what convinces a board, what you select a manager on, and what it would take for everyone else in the room. Come with a position.

Hosts:
Andreas Meier (Joachim Herz Stiftung)
Chris Heyer (Marvelous)
