Verena Pausder is an entrepreneur and one of the most prominent figures in Germany’s startup ecosystem.

Since December 2023, Verena Pausder has served as Chairwoman of the German Startup Association. She is known for her entrepreneurial passion, strong economic and social responsibility, and commitment to strengthening Germany as a competitive and future-ready business location.

Verena has been active in Germany’s startup ecosystem for more than thirteen years. Together with a nine-member board of experienced entrepreneurs, she works to attract international talent, increase diversity, generate more late-stage capital, improve the transfer of research into business, promote deep-tech startups, and strengthen entrepreneurship across Germany.
