We are the team behind "Bits & Pretzels", the startup festival in Munich that has been an incredible success story since its inception in 2014. They all come to us: former US President Barack Obama, the most famous founders & investors from all over the world, and the C-level decision-makers of big DAX corporations.

As a conference "from founders for founders" we want to offer everything that the founders of tomorrow need: Vision̩ Learning & Networking.

What are your tasks?

• ‍‍Support with the curation & implementation of the stage program
• Speaker & VIP relations
• Support in the implementation of the Startup Exhibition, Pitch Competition and Networking formats
• Own responsibility for conception & implementation of smaller event formats

What should you bring to the table? 

• Fascination with the startup ecosystem
• Very high motivation to continuously develop the content of Bits & Pretzels
• High level of organizational talent & independent, meticulous way of working
• Creativity & ability to work in a team
• Flexibility& ability to work under pressure in stressful situations
• Very good knowledge of German & English, written & spoken

What are your tasks?

• You are supporting the event team in the preparation, organization and implementation of various Bits & Pretzels events.
• You are helping in all relevant event production topics (e.g. communication with partners and trades, set-up and dismantling coordination in the location, afterparty, ...).
• You are taking over stage management tasks (e.g. creation & preparation of presentations & briefings, ensuring a smooth event flow).
• You are jointly responsible for the event logistics and have an eye on all event-relevant orders and incoming and outgoing goods in advance.
• You are planning and structuring our onsite office for the event.

What should you bring to the table?

• First experiences in event management
• Confident handling of MS Excel, Google Spreadsheets & PowerPoint
• You are reliable to the highest degree, have good organizational skills, and an independent way of working
• Willingness to learn & ability to work in a team
• Flexibility & a certain ability to work under pressure in stressful situations
• Technical affinity

What are your responsibilities?

- Assist in the preparation, execution and coordination of the Bits & Pretzels festivals in 2022
- Speaker & VIP handling (support in the run-up & on-site, coordination of travel to & from the event, accommodation, etc.)
- Contact person for all questions and concerns of our speakers & VIPs
- Stage Management (creation & preparation of presentations & briefings, ensuring a smooth event flow)
- Coordination & support of VIP side events
