What is Bits & Pretzels?

Bits & Pretzels is a 3-day conference for founders and people from the startup ecosystem with over 5,000 attendees. We bring together the world’s leading entrepreneurs and investors to share their ideas. Join us on September 27 - September 29, 2020 and do not miss the sensational finale at the Oktoberfest.

How do I get my ticket?

Option 1: The easiest way to get your ticket(s) is to find your e-mail order confirmation within your e-mail program. Tickets are attached to the order confirmation you received per e-mail directly after ordering your ticket as a PDF file. 

Option 2: If you can't find the e-mail confirmation, just go to eventbrite.com/gettickets, enter the e-mail you used to register for the event and access your ticket.

How exactly does the virtual Table Captain Networking work?

Hundreds of real entrepreneurial role models will open up to enthusiastic entrepreneurs like you by inviting you to virtually sit at their table! Limited to 10 participants at a virtual table, an honest exchange with the most experienced personalities of the startup world is ensured in intimate breakout rooms. As a participant, you can hear and see the Table Captain and the other participants and be heard and seen yourself. Time to start the discussion!

When and where does Bits & Pretzels take place?

Bits & Pretzels 2020 takes place from September 27th 9am until September 29th 1pm. The first two days take place at the International Congress Center Munich and the third day at the Schottenhamel tent at the Oktoberfest.

Do I need to follow specific technical requirements to take part in the Table Captain Networking?

You do not need any specific technical requirements but we highly recommend to use a laptop/computer and Google Chrome for the networking sessions. Nevertheless, the Table Captain Networking should also work on any other of the latest browser versions. In general, use headphones to ensure everybody can understand you well and please try to avoid loud background noise.

What is included in my Bits & Pretzels ticket?

Your 3-day-ticket entitles you to enter the event Bits & Pretzels 2019 from September 29 – October 1st and grants you access to selected Bits & Pretzels partner events, parties, and the Bits & Pretzels area at the Schottenhamel tent at the Oktoberfest on October 1st.

Do I have to pay tax on the ticket if I do not live in Germany?

According to German law, even foreign companies and non-citizens have to pay tax on their tickets.

Is the Bits & Pretzels ticket refundable?

Unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund for your ticket. However, if you have purchased a ticket and cannot make it to the event, you still have the possibility to sell your ticket to someone who is eligible for the ticket category you have purchased. If you want to transfer your ticket to someone else, please contact our Helpdesk for assistance: hello@bitsandpretzels.com. Be aware, changes are only possible until 14 days before the event.

Can I switch tables during the networking sessions?

In order to avoid unrest in the small networking sessions and to create the best possible experience for each participant, it is unfortunately not possible to virtually switch tables during the sessions.

How is the accesibbility at the venue?

Every event location has its pros and cons. This is also true for our ICM event location in Munich. But this location has something amazing to offer and now it’s time to highlight that the event is accessible and easy to use for everyone. We are very happy to announce that all speeches and attractions are accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
