Table Captain
Unfortunately, a change in Table Captains cannot be ruled out. We will inform you as soon as possible, but we're not responsible for short-term cancellations.
A Table Captain is a handpicked expert from the startup ecosystem – like an investor, founder, CEO, or other decision-makers. He or she will host the table and share their knowledge.
Every attendee at Bits & Pretzels can apply to join the Table Captain Networking. You can select your Table Captain in our Matchmaking App and Matchmaking platform, which will be published 10 days before the event. We will do our best to accommodate the choices of all participants but cannot guarantee that you'll get your first priority.
A Topic Table doesn’t have a host. At this table attendees with a shared interest in the topic of the table come together to network.
The Table Captain Networking will happen in person at the Oktoberfest.
On 27 September, the third day of our event, around 300 tables will be hosted by Table Captains. Table Captains are well-known investors, founders, CEOs and other decision-makers. Each one of them can be joined by up to eight attendees. This gives you a chance to expand your network, get real-world advice and benefit from exclusive insights.
Oktoberfest
In the Festhalle Schottenhamel.
On the third and last day of the event, 27 September from 9:00 till 12.00.

The lines U4 (green) and U5 (yellow) take you from, for example, Odeonsplatz, Karlsplatz/Stachus, or Hauptbahnhof directly to Theresienwiese in a few minutes. For those for whom Theresienwiese station is too busy, you can travel one stop further to Schwanthalerhöhe.
The U3 (orange) and U6 (blue) go from Odeonsplatz, Marienplatz or Sendlinger Tor, arriving in approx. 5 minutes at Goetheplatz or, one station further, Poccistraße. From here it is just a few minutes walk to the east and south entrances to Oktoberfest.

The main S-Bahn lines (S1 to S8) all go to Hackerbrücke: for example, it’s 2 minutes from Hauptbahnhof, 5 minutes from Marienplatz, and 10 minutes if you get on at Ostbahnhof. From Hackerbrücke station you can comfortably walk to the main entrance of Oktoberfest in 10 minutes. You can’t get lost, simply follow the people in Dirndls and Lederhosen!
