FANMILES IS JOINING #BITS17
The trio, which has been working together since 2016, will speak on the Center Stage in front of 5,000 founders, investors, and startup enthusiasts about the selection, training, and importance of teams - in sports and in companies.
“Why I refused the offer from Barcelona in 2008,
but immediately signed at Fanmiles in 2016.”
Philipp Lahm, who has already invested in various companies during his last active years as a football professional, wants to apply his many years’ experience at his Berlin based startup Fanmiles. The startup developed an innovative platform, which
goal it is to reward fans for their loyalty. With this so called #Fanmiles, which work like an own currency, users can get various products and services.
As the youngest world captain and longtime leader of FC Bayern, Lahm is well acquainted with various team structures. From his current role as an investor and shareholder, he can easily demonstrate the similarities and differences between startups and football clubs: for example, what Alan and Fabian could offer, and Barcelona couldn’t.
We are more than excited to hear their story on stage!
